Issued during WWI period time, this helmet was worn by a member of a Freikorps after the First World War. A white large size swastika was painted to the front side. Due to extensive wear, it is hard to see.
The helmet still comes with its original fieldgrey paint, however, there are some "grass green" areas as well so this helmet was somehow camo painted or overpainted once.
The lining is still original. The leather pads are quite soft and hows markings. The chin strap is partially a little dry. Some areas were taped.
