Description

A really impressive German M35 helmet that is nearly untouched. The earliest type of helmet issued to Heer, Luftwaffe, Kriegsmarine, Polizei and Waffen-SS troops. This example was issued by the Heer.

Paint: Original factory paint. Around 95% still present. Signs of wear but unoiled. Inside and out this finish is really clean.

Decals: The eagle decal is 99% present. The national decal is about 90%.

Lining: Flexible leather lining. Still soft. Original cord with name of the wearer inscribed inside.   The rivets have been removed at some time but appear to be 100% original to the helmer

Chin strap: Soft leather and clean.

Markings: Q64 and 1888 clearly stamped.

A great quitisential helmet that would add to any collection.
