Awards: Heer Driver's Badge in silver, MG Shooting Badge, Wound Badge in black, Heer Long Service Award 4th Class, 1939 Iron Cross 2nd Class, Westwall Medal, Infanterie Assault Badge in silver, 1939 Iron Cross 1st Class and Heer Honor Roll Clasp on 20.8.1942 (awarded posthumously). Noted on page 21, 23 and 38. 

Promoted posthumously to Hauptmann on 1.5.42. "... wegen Tapferkeit vor dem Feind" (bravery in the face of the enemy). Dated 20.8.1942, the same date as the award for the Honor Roll Clasp. Noted on page 23. 

Furthermore a long campaign list from 3.9.1939 until 21.1.1942. Killed in action on 21.1.1942 at Naro, Russia.
