A very rare set of early German paratrooper « Fallschirmjäger » combat boots. Factory made example constructed from brown almost violet colored smooth grain leather. The boots are in overall excellent condition, slightly worn, supple leather. The set is marked along the top on the exterior with the size, date and lot number « 27 4 40 216 ». Original factory applied stacked leather and rubber heels with ski grooves present. Very interesting structured rubber soles in slightly worn condition. Paratrooper jump boots of this early vintage are extremely difficult to find, particularly in this excellent condition.
