Description

A fine Luftwaffe tunic to a well decorated flying troops or paratrooper Oberfeldwebel. He served as a "Spieß" which is indicated by the machine-attached rings to the sleeves. Luftwaffe "Spieß" tunics are pretty hard to come by.

All insignia are period time attached. The NCO/officer's breast eagle is machine attached to a blue cloth backing (very often done by the factory) which is hand-attached to the tunic. The collar tabs are attached by hand. You can see the tabs were promoted a few times since there are small holes of formerly attached "birds". The shoulder boards come with matching yellow color and are also attached by hand. All insignia do absolutely match.

There are four loops for a 7cm long medal bar as well as loops for three awards.

Fine silk lining. Medium size. Very nice condition 2. No damage.
