1914 Iron Cross 1st Class and 2nd class set

Description

Iron cross first class 1914, flat. Made from iron and silver. Marked “SW” for the maker Sy & Wagner, Berlin. One of the earlier made crosses. Beautiful piece with nice old patina. Comes together with an iron cross 2nd class, made from silver and iron, no maker. Both pieces in a beautiful case. Comes with a postcard, depicting an enlisted man wearing his iron cross proudly. Nice group!

Kept in an old case which was postwar modified to fit the crosses!
