Extremely rare 1939 Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross. Made by Juncker, Berlin. It is the last known type Juncker had manufactured. Collectors call it "lazy 2".
Three-part construction with an iron core. The frame shows the typical "Lattenzaun" details. Original "rough" black factory paint know for Juncker made crosses. Numbers and swastika are of typical Juncker design. "2" maker marked and "800" silver stamped to the upper cross arm on the reverse. The ring comes also with an "800" silver hallmark. An overall rare textbook example 2+.

In its original black case of issue. Black velvet inlay with a white silk lining. Button and hinge are magnetic. The lid and the lining are slightly damaged. Fully working. Apart from the damages in good condition 2.
