Certificate to "The Rider of Schwerin" badge. Issued on 15.7.1942 to Obergefreiten Georg Häßner serving with II./Lehrgeschwader 1. Signed by Major Gerhard Kollewe (Knight's Cross with Oak Leaves winner, KIA on 17.10.1942). Double-sided. Slight stains to the reverse.
Including the matching enamel badge showing "The Rider of Schwerin". It's the coat of arms of the city of Schwerin. The II. Group of the Lehrgeschwader was based there. Missing pin.

The badge was awarded exclusively to members of the II./Lehrgeschwader 1, for their combat mission in the battle against England in Greece.
