Description

Well worn light weight South Front tunic for a Luftwaffe Leutnant of "Fliegende Truppe" branch. The tunic comes with fully originally attached insignia. The officer's breast eagle show slight corrosion as well as the shoulder boards. Some threads of the eagle's right wing have opened and you can cleary see a dark shadow underneath the wing which proofs the eagle set here since the tunic was tailored. The boards are slipped on, the collar tabs are attached by machine.

Four pocket tunic with buttons attached with rings and splints and known for summer tunics. There is a hole for a dagger hanger to go through so this tunic was definitely worn with a dagger once.

Originally attached and clearly worn Iron Cross 2nd Class ribbon. Two pair loops for awards

Overall a very "salty" "been there" tunic with a lot of character. Nicely sun-bleached. No moth damage.

Condition 2- Medium size.
