Imperial reservist's mug to Reservist Sattig serving with 4./Nassauisches Pionier-Bataillon No. 21 in Mainz from 1912 until 1914.
A very nice painted porcelain mug with colored pictures. Original pewter lid with a solider to the top. The top of the lid can be unscrewed, underneath is a small green glass prism.
Including a list of names of his comrades, who served with him. The lithophane bottom has the typical soldier and maiden scene. Well visible when the mug is held against the light. 0.5-litre mug.
The lid and the handle are glued (were aborted). No chipping.
Apart from the two repairs in good condition.
