Well worn M42 Waffen-SS field tunic which was period time modified for "fashion reason". The owner preferred the more early M36 style and had a dark green collar added by a tailor. In addition, he added the vertical bars all four pockets. That definitely happened period time! Modifications like these are proven by many period time photos.

Typical silk lining. No stamps found. Most probably washed out. Inner belt hook straps removed. Field dressing pocket missing. Signs of wear and some holes.

Typical "2-hole type" tunic. Slightly shortened. Pockets slightly changed in position and attached with black thread (period time).

RZM type machine-embroidered sleeve eagle attached by hand. No shadow of a formerly attached breast eagle. Complete buttons. Most are not factory attached but all look period time attached.

Green collar with machine-attached tress. Shadow of removed SS collar tabs visible.

Medium size. Well worn and "salty". Some minor moth damage. Condition 2-3.
