Description
Heavy diving suite to Kriegsmarine clearance diver Erich Heinrich. The lot consists of:
1. Heavy Draeger "DM 40" diving helmet. Made of brass and copper. "Draeger" maker marked. "2657" and "2532" numbered. Inside white. A small hole is drilled into the top of the helmet. Weight: 18 kg. Signs of use and age. Condition 2.
2. Diving suit. "Phoenix Harburg" maker marked and "459788" numbered. Size "67". Well worn condition. The suit has some repairs. Condition 2.
3. Heavy diving shoes. Made of steel. Leather hard. Rust stains. Weight 17 kg. Condition 2-.
4. Two extra weights. Made from plump and brass. Signs of use and age. Weight: 17 kg each.
5. Diving gloves. Signs of age and use. Condition 2.
6. Two period time photographs of Erich Heinrich showing him in action. Taken from a photo album. One photo he is wearing a different diving suit. One phot postcard size.
