Description

A fantastic light-weight RAD tunic which came straight of the family. The son mentioned that his father was serving in South France which explains his light-weight privately purchased tunic ver well.

Originally attached Feldmeister rank insignia. Hand-attached collar tabs. Slipped-on shoulder boards. Having a closer look at the boards, it looks that these are forestry boards he had worn with these boards. Apart from the green backing, the are identical to RAD boards.

His upper breast pockets come with small press buttons to both flaps guaranteeing a accurated look of his pockets. Inside one pocket was his small field ribbon bar and a officer's XXV RAD unit badge which was removed from the sleeve. His swastika armband is missing but you can clearly see a dark shadow to the left sleeve.

The field ribbon bar must have been worn by attaching to the cloth. He had also worn one award which was attached to two loops to his left breast pocket.

Fine brown silk lining. Originally attached tailor's tag (seam partially opened).

No moth damage. Good condition 2. Medium size.
