Exclusive photo album of an unknown Nachtjäger Oberfeldwebel serving with 7./Nachtjagdgeschwader 3. A beautiful set-up photo album documenting his service time from 1938 until 1946. He would have set this up by a professional designed for sure.
Part of the album are photos of the Knight's Cross awarding ceremony of his Staffelkapitän Oberleutnant Reinhold Eckhart (1918 - 1942), a well known pioneer of the German night fighter history. There is a portrait of Eckardt taken on the day of his Knight's Cross awarding. It is signed by him with ink.
Another photo shows his aircraft tail with 14 painted kill emblems. The photo is subtitled "Unseres Staffelkapitäns Machine mit 14 Abschüssen".
The album documents when a new Staffelkapitän was welcomed after Eickhart was killed.
Late 1945 photos included. Well documented. Very nice condition.
