Prussia - M1915 field tunic Res.Inf.Rgt.213 for a Sergant

Description

German WW1 period time M1915 field tunic worn by a "Sergant" of Reserve-Infanterie-Regiments 213. A depot issued EM tunic which was "upgraded" by this NCO period time by replacing the collar with a stand-up collar with NCO tress. Typical covered vertical button line with six originally attached horn buttons.

Pockets and shoulder board buttons like worn from 1917. White piped M15 shoulder boards with machine-embroidered red "213" cyphers attached by hand. Brown cotton lining. Maker and depot marked. Barely readable. Most probably "B.A.XVI."

Collar with originally attached silk protection band from brown velvet and cotton. One pair of awards loops for an Iron Cross 1st Class or a Wound Badge.

Slightly worn blouse with only three moth holes as well a few smaller bits.

Nicely worn condition 2.

Back 79 cm, Sleeve 63 cm, Waist ca 90 cm
