A fantastic and very rare Heer M35 helmet which comes with an original camo paint as worn during the Normandy battles in France. The camo is sprayed to the shell and shows green, red and kahki colors. About 80% of the paint is still place. Scratches, light rust and signs of wear.
SE64 marked shell.
Decals period time overpainted with camo paint. Rest of the eagle decal visible underneath the paint.
Size "64" marked (head size 56) matching inner ring with a soft leather lining is part of the helmet but loose. The lining is size "59" stamped and might not entirely matching.
A very rare helmet well worth getting restored with an original liner.
