M1915 Prussian spike helmet for a soldier serving with (3. Hanseatischen) Infanterieregiment Nr. 162 based in Lübeck. Stamped "BA VII" by the depot. Barely readable dated. Maker marks (hard to read).
Stamps to the rear visor by "Bekleidungsamtes IX" as well as unit marked (3. Hanseatischen) Infanterieregiments Nr. 162.
Removable spike. Leather sweat-band with silvered fittings.
"Reich" cockade missing. Correct Hanseatic cockade in place. The seam of the rear visor has nearly entirely opened. Only a few bits of the lining still in place. Helmet slightly deformed. Extra holes. Uncleaned.
