Extremely rare 1936 Olympic Games torch. One of the most significant symbols connected with any Olympic Games.
Route of the torch run from Olympia to Berlin etched to the shaft. Lettering to the top of the shaft: "FACKEL-STAFFELLAUF OLYMPIADE-BERLIN 1936". Above the German eagle with olympic rings.
The top shows the edged legend:

The inside of the top plate shows information to the maker and about the material being used: "Krupp Nirosta V2A Stahl - Stiftung der Fried. Krupp A.G. Essen"

Some dents to the rim of the top. One hole to the bottom part. The bottom parts looks to be resoldered.
