Early M36 sidecap worn by Kradschützen EM and NCOs. Very rare brown color "soutache" piping. Attached by machine as it should be. No signs of a previously attached soutache or rest of another color visible. A "true" Kradschützen sidecap with hand-attached cap insignia (maschine-woven type). The eagle looks re-attached to us. Zinc grommets. Cotton lining with a large maker's mark as well as a "1940" date stamp and a "56" size marking.
