Description

Very fine 4 pocket service tunic for a General. A nice set of matching insignia with lovely patina which were postwar attached to this tunic. Machine-attached general's collar tabs, slip-on shoulder boards with two silvered rank pips. Hand-embroidered breast eagle. Postwar attached loops for awards and a ribbon bar.

Silk lining with a "Schwarz & Sohn" tailor's tag. A 1939 dated "Steindorff" name tag to the inner pocket.

Red piping along the cuffs, the vertical button line and the collar.

No damage. Slightly worn condition.
Medium size.

A fine tunic which is original in every single part but was, however, not worn like this. A postwar "upgraded" general's tunic.
