Crown prince Wilhelm document collection of his royal wedding with Duchess Cecilie of Mecklenburg-Schwerin in June 1905. This document collection once belonged to police president Georg von Borries and it contains i.a. police orders, court announcements, the order of the festivities, proof of the accommodation of the guests, menu cards, programs, etc. as well as an extensive amount of press releases.
Furthermore, similar documents about the celebration of the silver wedding of the imperial couple and the marriage of Prince Eitel- Friedrich with Duchess Sophie Charlotte of Mecklenburg in February 1906. Interesting documentation of these events, in kept in a beautifully made folder.
Attached are also various menu cards from the Prinzen Palais 1913/14.
