Excellent gold pocket watch to SA-Brigadeführer Richard Suchenwirth (1896-1965). He was the founder of the Austrian "Nationalsozialistischen Deutschen Arbeiterverein - Hitlerbewegung" as well as a member of the Reichstag from 1938 until 1945.
The watch is made by Deutsche Uhrenfabrikation Glashütte i. SA Lange-Uhr, known as "Glashütte" watch. Made from real gold. "585" gold hallmark. Serial number "56372". The watch dial comes a subsidiary 60 second time display. All pointers in place as well as the winding crown to the top of the watch. Maker marked. Fully working!
Engraved "Herrn Prof. Doktor Richard Suchenwirth m.d. besten Wünschen -signature Konrad Henlein- Reichenberg, Weihnachten 1940". The watch was a personal Christmas present from Gauleiter Konrad Henlein to Richard Suchenwirth. He thanked him for his lecture, which he gave in November 1940 in Reichenberg.
