Heer M40 Artillerie field tunic to a Obergefreiter
Description
A very fine Heer M41 field tunic which was worn by an artillery Obergefreiter. The eagle, the collar tabs and the shoulder boards were removed. You can also see that there was an Iron Cross ribbon attached to the second front button hole.
Fine silk lining with size markings and an "F41" (Frankfurt 1941) depot marking. "LIEF. GEM. BADEN" (Liefergemeinschaft Baden).
A wartime "grey" Obergefreiter rank badges period time attached by machine. Hand-attached (period time) signal's badge.
Only a few small moth bites if you look closely. All buttons are originally attached.
Medium size. A stunning tunic well worth getting restored with original insignia!
