Description

Heer field tunic to a Nachrichten Oberleutnant. All insignia look to be period time attached. The collar tabs are attached by machine. The color and patina of the tabs and the boards are matching. A very early (1935,36) breast eagle is hand-attached. This officer's would have prefered this early light-grey pattern.

The Iron Cross and East Medal ribbon is period time attached by hand. It matches perfectly. There are original loops for a ribbon bar as well as three pair of loops for awards with clear signs of wear. A zinc Infantry Assault Badge, a DRA Sport's Badge and a black Wound Badge are still attached to the tunic. The Iron Cross 1st Class is missing.

Size stamps to the silk lining. A DRGM marked and Assmann maker marked dagger hanger.

Complete with its aiguillette and the correct button underneath the right shoulder board to attach it.

No moth damage. Medium size.
