Luftwaffe EM/NCO-pattern M43-type field-cap (ie. 'Einheitsfeldmütze') as was intended for the various Luftwaffe-staff.
The piece is executed in (typical) bluish-coloured wool and shows a greyish-blue-coloured (and 'silk-like'-type) lining (that shows some fading). The cap is totally void of any size- and maker-designation (which might have well been once present but that has 'faded-away' during regular usage).
The cap shows a white-on-blue-coloured, 'standard'-pattern cap-eagle and dito cocarde in place (of which the eagle is attached by means of so-called: 'zig-zag'-machine-stitching and the cocarde by hand-stitching). The cap shows a partial, leather-based sweat-band and has two light-blue-coloured (and resin-based) closing-buttons in place.
The side-cap comes in an overall nice condition and shows moderate age, staining and/or wear. It is approximately 56/57 cms. and will with certainty fit a mannequins'-head.
