Document grouping to Unteroffizier Heinz Filipzig serving the 4./Nachtjagdgeschwader 1 together with Obergefreiter Hancke and Obergefreiter Schulze.

This kill was also reported by Staffelführer Oberleutnant Fritz Lau, who was credited with 28 aerial victories.

Original 4./NJG1 issued "Abschussmeldung" (kill report) for Lau's kill of a 4 engine aircraft.

The documents state the mission as a "Wilde Sau" one. The four-engined enemy aircraft was shot down northwest of Laon, France.

23.4.1944 dated an signed by Lau.

"Gefechtsbericht" signed by Uffz. Filipzig and three "Luftzeugenkampfberichte" signed by Obgefr. Hanke, Obgefr. Schulze and Oblt. Lau.

Additional "Stellungnahme" (statement) signed by Lau.

Report of the group commander signed by Hptm., later promoted to Major, Bonin, a flying ace who was credited with 37 aerial victories.
