Third Reich period time carpet which was presented to SS-Obergruppenführer Konrad Henlein by the city of Roßbach on 1.10.1940.
Heinlein was nominated honorary citizen of Roßbach by the mayor Hermann Zapf on 16.7.1940. The city of Roßbach thanks Henlein for his merits on the reintegration of the Sudetenland. It says, that Henlein has always had an eye on city of Roßbach even as Gauturnwart in earlier days.
The carpet shows two swastikas as well as the swastika symbol of the "Turnerbund". Furthermore, the crest of Roßbach is shown.
Size: 2 meter x 1,3 meter.
Nice condition.
Please note that the carpets looks to have been manufactured backwards for some reason.
