Certificate for the U-Boot War Badge to Maschinenmaat Werner Gorks serving on U 658. He was killed on 30.October 1942. Facsimile signed by Admiral und Befehlshaber der U-Boote Karl Dönitz. Folded. Condition 2.

"U-658" was sunk on 30.10.1942 in the North Atlantic north-east of Newfoundland by four 120-kg-Mk.VIII water bombs of the "Hudson Y" of the Canadian RCAF Squadron 145, flown by E.L. Robinson. Commander of "U 658" was Kapitänleutnant Hans Senkel.
