Description

A very rare Heer cavalry officer's sabre. Made by Eickhorn, Solingen. This type was listed in the Eickhorn catalog as "Model # 1715".

It comes with a nice clean blade in good condition 1-2. "Eickhorn Solingen" maker marked. Gilt handle fittings. A similar handle was used on the sabre models "Lützow" and "Prinz Eugen". The langet displays crossed swords. Black celluloid grip with intact wire wrapping. No chipping. The pommel shows a Wehrmacht eagle with swastika. Black factory patined scabbard. No dents.

Not easy to find!
