Damaged M42 Heer helmet. The shell was hit by two slinter shells. They also damaged the inner ring and the inner leather liner. The helmet comes a lot of serious rust pits but also original factory color left. It looks like the rust pits were professionally covered with matching modern color when restoring the helmet. The lining was also oiled. The rivets and prongs are original to the shell. The eagle decal is about 35%.
