Description

Heer Nachrichten parade tunic for an Oberfeldwebel serving with Nachrichten-Abteilung 13. Part of this offer is a period time photo proof! He owner wears exactly the same parade tunic on his wedding portrait! Please compare how the left collar touches the yellow collar piping! He got married as a Unteroffizier so the boards still show the "13" cypher which were removed later. The tunic now comes with two rank pips.

The portrait is unfortunately badly damaged. It is 19.9.1942 dated and dedicated to his bride. He signed with "Bernhard".

Parade tunic with period time attached insignia. "Zitronengeld" piping and insignia. Machine-attached collar tabs. Hand-attached officer's breast eagle. Three pair of awards loops. A 1st pattern Wound Badge in black is still attached to the tunic. Furthermore, a 4-place ribbon bar of a Memelland Medal recipient. It was most likely attached later as he is not wearing this bar on the photograph.

A 9.12.1938 dated name tag (name is hard to read) by inside one of the inner pockets. Tailored by "Otto Haupt" based in Magdeburg. Please note that he must have purchased this tunic as a young Gefreiter and had worn this right up to his wedding in 1942. He kept on promoting it until he was a Oberfeldwebel only wearing it on rare occasions for sure.

Radioman sleeve badge with bullion cord. All buttons complete. Moth damage.

Medium size.
