Description

Extremely rare grouping to Kapitätnleutnant Urlich Kolbe. Kolbe served as commander of Lehrkommando 200 for a short period in 1944. Lehrkommando 200 was part of the "Kleinkampfverbände der Kriegsmarine". From July 1944 until the end of WWII, Kolbe served as commander of Kleinkampf-Flottille 212 and was involved in the D-Day battles in Normany in 1944. Earlier on, from Januar until October 1942 he served as commander of Torpedoboot "Greif" as an Oberleutnant zur See.

Kriegsmarine so-called "Colani" tunic for a Kapitänleutnant zur See. Originally attached insignia. Hand-attached officer's breast eagle. A ver nice embroidered officer's example. Hand-attached "sea personnel" badges. Machine-attached rank stripes. Hand-attached Iron Cross ribbon. Three pair of award loops with all awards still in place.

Fine black silk lining. A "HEINRICH CLAUSEN" (tailor) name tag named to "Kltn. U Kolbe" to the inside pocket. 1944 dated. Attached by hand. The name tag looks postwar attached to us.

Nicely worn 1939 Iron Cross 1st Class. Unmarked. Made by Godet or Zimmermann. Good condition.
Kriegsmarine Naval Clasp. A very interesting "board made" example from brass. Good condition.
E-Boat Badge 2nd pattern. Made by Adolf Scholze. Zinc. AS maker marked. Good condition.

No moth damage. Nicely worn condition. Medium size.

A brass "board made" "Sprengboot" badge with two crossed swords. Diameter: 5,5,cm (circle). Good condition.
Excellent period time water color showing a "Schnellboot". Painted by "Fritz Friedel" (artist). 37cm x 25cm.

Original "victory pennant" (Tonnagewimpel) for 2000 GRT tunk! A typical hand-painted example from linen which was made on board. Length: 60cm. Torn. It clearly suffered from the wind. Extremely rare!

A 3,2 meter long Kriegsmarine commander's pennant. A textbook linen example Kriegsmarine stamped with the eagle and "M". "6,5" stamped. Used condition. Moth damage.

Colored certificate to Destroyer War Bage. Issued by the commander of the Torpedoboot "Seeadler" on 20. January 1941. Originally signed by Kapitän zur See Hans Bütow (Knight's Cross winner).

Colored certificate to E-Boat War Badge. Issued on 11. March 1943. Originally signed by Korvettenkapitän Rudolf Petersen (Knight's Cross with Oak Leaves winner).

Certificate to Kriegsmarine Naval Front Clasp in bronze (field made). Issued on 10. May 1945 "on board". A poor quality citation reflecting the situation at the end of the war. Originally signed by Fregattenkapitän Fritz Frauenheim (Knight's Cross and German Cross in gold winner). Two holes and slight stains. A very rare autograph!

10 original photos and one postcard. One photo shows Adolf Hitler visiting the Gneisenau in 1938.
