SA-Brigadeführer Neef - SA Service Dagger "Wf" with Röhm dedication

Description

SA-Brigadeführer Hermann Neef's SA Service Dagger.

Hermann Neef (1904-1950) was an early 1920s member of the NSDAP and a member of the German Reichstag during the Third Reich. His NSDAP membership number was 9249. In October 1933 he founded the Reichsbund der Deutschen Beamten "RDB" and at the same time became the Reichsbeamtenführer (Head of the German Civil Service).

A nice early SA Service Dagger. Made by F. Herder, Solingen. The blade comes with the etched motto "Alles für Deutschland" and the rare Röhm dedication "In herzlicher Kameradschaft Ernst Röhm". "F. Herder A.S. Solingen" maker marked. A nice dark brown wooden handle with original SA roundel and national eagle (nickel). No chipping. Matching nickel fittings. The lower crossguard is "Wf" (Westfalen) stamped.

Original brown factory anodized scabbard with nickel fittings. A small dent. The upper fitting shows his name "Neef" (engraved). All four original screws in place as well as unopened. Including the original brown leather hanger and belt loop. The snap clip is fully working.
