SS police leader's sword, so-called "Führerdegen".
"Eickhorn Solingen" maker marked blade. Black wooden handle with intact wire wrapping. The small back piece of the handle, which covered the wire wrapping, is missing. Originally attached police emblem. No chipping.
Nickel-plated iron hilt fittings. Incorrect pommel (it's for Unterführer swords). "SS" stamped on the underside of the crossguard. Black re-painted steel scabbard. No dents. Both fittings were removed.
