Waffen-SS M43 "2-hole" field tunic
Description
Rare Waffen-SS M43 field tunic. Collector's call it a "2-hole" pattern because there are two holes for the belt hook as only issued to SS troops.
The insignia were entirely removed. You can clearly see the shadow of removed collar tabs as well as a removed sleeve eagle. There is no shadow of a removed breast eagle of course. The shoulder boards were removed.
Typical grey color buttons as known for this type of tunic. One looks to be removed. Silk lining with signs of wear. Size stamped!
There is some minor moth damage. A few holes were closed with a few stitches. To the reverse, a 5cm x 6cm piece was professionally replaced.
Small to medium size. The tunic is placed on our size medium bust for display.
