Waffen-SS "South Front" officer's tunic

Description

A privately light-weight summer tunic worn by a Waffen-SS officer. Most probably tailored in the field.

A clear shadow of a removed Waffen-SS sleeve eagle and a cuff title to the left sleeve. Tiny bits of black thread left. Stichting holes visible. The small size shoulder loops were removed. Again, a clear shadow of them is visible. The small size loops would be for offier's boards. There is only a very light but still clear shadow of the shoulder boards.

This tunic was worn with a dark green collar. A light shadow of removed SS boards is visible. They were only attached by hand.
There is no shadow of a former breast eagle!

All buttons look postwar attached.

A very rare Waffen-SS tunic and nicely worn condition 2-. Medium size.
