A very fine and nearly unworn Heer M40 helmet. It comes with a wartime "rough" fieldgrey paint to the shell which could have been added from 1940 possibly. The liner and chin strap are both absolutely original to this helmet. The liner comes with the original cord and is size "59" stamped. The shell is ET66 marked. The chin strap "1939" dated and maker marked. Chin strap and liner are both absolutely soft.
The original fieldgrey paint is covering about 95% of the shell. A stunning helmet which remained untouched!
