VIEW DESCRIPTION

Pre-war photo album of a German BDM girl from Lodz, Poland.

The album documents the HJ/BDM organization in Poland around 1938. It starts with a passport photo of the girl and the lettering "Deutsche Jugend in Polen - Lodz" (GERMAN YOUTH IN POLAND - LODZ). A very interesting album with 14 photos. Each photo is provided with a handwritten note.

Including a few period time documents and eight negatives.

Signs of use.

(Lodz was renamed Litzmannstadt in 1940)
