Description

A nice Wehrmacht reservist's mug to Gefreiten Martin Maier serving with Infanterie-Regiment 61 in München. The mug comes with a nice colored picture to the front showing a PAK-crew as well as the typical lettering. Including his name. The original tin lid is in place.

0.5-litre mug. No chipping. No damage. Nice condition.

Martin Maier was killed in action on 29. May 1940 near Abbeville (Somme, France). At his death, he carried the enclosed pocket watch with him. This was probably damaged by a bullet. Furthermore some photos of him and his brother Josef. Josef was also killed in action on 30. August 1944.
