Made by Eickhorn Solingen. Maker marked on the blade. The blade has slight stains. Typical black wooden grip with originally attached police emblem. No chipping. The first two "rows" of the wire wrapping are missing (damaged). Nickel-plated iron hilt fittings. Original officer's portepee. "SS" stamped on the underside of the crossguard.
Black re-painted steel scabbard with nickel-plated iron fittings. Again "SS" marked on the throat. No dents. Including the black leather hanger.
