Original M38 Fallschirmjäger jumping helmet. The shell was postwar overpainted with green color. A eagle decal was painted as well but without swastika. The shell is ET68 marked. The lot number is 446.
The helmet comes with a nice leather lining with original 2nd pattern chin straps attached. There is no paint to the lining or straps which were luckily taken out before painting the shell to the in- and outside.
The liner is marked but the stamps are barely readable. There are two rips which were backed with leather to repair it.
