Clearly worn M40 Luftwaffe single decal helmet with liner and chin strap. 85% of the original blue-grey factory paint in place. Eagle decal about 75-80%.
The leather liner shows a barely readable size marking. The leather is still flexible. The size must be 58. The prongs of the rivets look to have been opened once. The chin strap is "Reichel" maker marked. The shell is SE66 marked. Original cord.
Clearly worn helmet in condition 2- which came along with a few original photos, according to our consignor. No more information regarding the provenience available.
