CONSIGNED BY THE FAMILY!

A nice grouping to Gefreiten Johann Hagelstein serving with Panzer-Abteilung 138 and Panzer-Regiment 27. In August 1943 the regiment consisted of 81 Panzer IV, 79 Panzer V "Panther" and 8 anti-aircraft tanks (Flugabwehrpanzer).

Solbuch issued on 15. April 1942. Original attached photo in black service tunic "wrapper". Awards: Tank Assault Badge in silver, 1939 Iron Cross 2nd Class, and Wound Badge in black. His units are listed on page 4. Two holes and the national emblem (eagle) of the front cover has been removed. 

Certificate to 1939 Iron Cross 2nd Class. Issued on 20. March 1943. Signed by Generalmajor Karl Casper (Knight's Cross winner). Two holes and folded. Including the Iron Cross and the bag of issue. "Rudolf Souval" maker marked.

Certificate to Tank Assault Badge in silver. Issued on 28. February 1943. Signed by Hauptmann Zimmermann. Two holes and folded.

Certificate to Wound Badge in black. Issued on 23. October 1943. Signed by Hauptmann. Two holes and folded.

1939 War Merit Cross 2nd Class with swords on ribbon.

Nice portrait photo in black service tunic "wrapper". Postcard format.

POW "Certificate of Discharge". Dated "9. March 1946".
