Description

Made by Alexander Coppel, Solingen (ALCOSO). The sword comes with an engraving on the quillon "Ihrem lieben Bader von seinen Freunden in Banritsch 24.2.1897.".

Nice clean blade. Just a few small stains. "ALCOSO" maker's mark on the reverse of the blade. Gilded brass handle fittings. A real ray skin finished grip including the cipher of Kaiser Wilhelm II. The guard shows the Prussian eagle. Including the portepee (damaged). Black painted steel scabbard. No dents.
