Waldemar von Fischer (1189 - 1974) served as a WW1 u-boat commander during WWI and as chief of staff of the WWII shipyards St. Nazaire and La Rochelle during WWII. He became Danish Naval Commander Islands from August 1944 until the end of the war.
His WWI U-Boot commands were:

UC 60 - 25.6.1917 - 30.11.1917
UB 38 - 6.12.1917 - 24.12.1917
UB 126 - 20.4.1918 - 11.11.1918

WWII period time 8x14 binoculars with original leather straps made by "E.LEITZ". The optics are absolutely clear. No reticle. Several markings. In original leather case with straps and intact belt loops. A very nice set.
