Very rare 2nd pattern Panzer wrapper for a Panzer Oberleutnant. Most probably made around 1938.
The 1st pattern wrapper is constructed with a small collar (2nd pattern has a large collar) and pink piping around it. The cotton pink pipings of the collar tabs and the collar are slightly mismatching in terms of patina but there are no signs of previously attached tabs. Aluminum skulls.
Slip-on boards. Some moth damage to the boards only.
Hand-attached early white-black machine-woven breast eagle. It looks period time attached to us. Fully original attached buttons as well.
Typical grey cotton lining. Barely readable markings. Please see pictures.
No moth damage. Very nice condition 2.
