The blade comes with the initals "SG" of the recipient. "Krebs, Solingen" maker marked. Blackened wooden grip with original inserted SS runes. No chipping. Intact wire wrapping. The pommel also bears the engraved intials "SG". Nickel hilt fittings. "SS" stamped on the bottom of the cossguard. With the matching SS officer's portepee. Partially corroded.
Original black painted steel scabbard. Around 85 % present. No dents. Nickel and iron fittings. "SS" stamped on the throat. Inlcuding the sword hanger for a police leader's Degen. However, also worn on the SS Degen.
