VIEW DESCRIPTION

A German M40 helmet. The type of helmet was issued to Heer, Luftwaffe, Kriegsmarine, Polilzei and Waffen-SS troops. This example was issued by the Heer.

Paint: Original factory paint. Around 95% still present. Rust and signs of wear.

Decals: The eagle decal is about 90%.

Lining: tight leather lining. Original cord. 55 size stamped.
Unopened prongs. The liner is original to the shell.

Chin strap: missing

Markings: EF62 and 682 in the rear.
