Description

A very impressive medal bar of a highly decorated NCO consisting of the Iron Cross 2nd Class, 1914, silver and iron core, Prussian War Auxiliary Cross in zinc, Bavarian Military Merit Cross 3rd class with swords, Oldenburg Friedrich-August Cross in blackened bronze, Wurttemberg Military Merit Medal in silver, Saxe-Weimar War Merit Medal in bronze with swords device, Brunswick, Ernst-August Cross on combatant ribbon, Saxony Friedrich-August Medal in silver, Reuss, Military Merit Medal in silver with swords, so called Hindenburg Cross, Prussian Long service cross for NCOs for 9 years service, Austrian, Hungarian and lastly the Rumanian WWI commemorative medal. The bar is tightly sewn and terminated on the reverse with field gray wool and needle system.
