Edmund Struad was a member of the Sch.E.Kp.134/244. He was promoted to Feldwebel January 1, 1945.

He received the Infantry Assault Badge on July 29, 1940, the Wound Badge in Black on May 23, 1942, East Medal on August 30, 1942 and the War Merit Cross 2nd Class with Swords, 1939, September 1, 1944.
